Buying a new TV this year (2009) might be a good idea

Do you think the new flat-screen televisions, but if you are in a tie? Believe it or not, even with the chaos in financial markets dominated because of credit crisis of 2008-2009, I believe that the best time to do it is exactly in the middle. The impact of the global credit crisis fell on many aspects of life as we know, the demand for television sets (among others) is expected to go through a major crisis in 2009. So why is a good timebuy new televisions? As the fall in demand will push manufacturers and retailers to reduce costs. What has actually done for a while 'time with many shops for sale. Online stores like Amazon have announced sub-$ 600 big screen TVs for some time. Not that a few years ago would have thought when $ 2,000 LCD televisions are too often shops of view of the unit.

If you have already saved, or until the money clear that the new purchase, II suggest you head over to the store and get the shiny new LCD or plasma TV. Or you could wait a bit 'and see if more stores will further discount. This, I think, is very likely that the forecasts of market research firm DisplaySearch data.

While sales of last year (2008) were about 3% higher to 206 million units over two years ago (2007), this probably is not the case in 2009. DisplaySearch foresees a huge drop of 18% of the entire Board (AllTV-types) in turnover and a 1% reduction in units sold worldwide. The LCD TV segment will be hardest hit, as is predicted to decline from 16% of revenues to 88 billion dollars, despite a projected increase of 17% in shipments. The manufacturers are only sacrificing profits and commitments to secure more market share by cutting prices. This is bad news for retailers and distributors, which certainly played a thinning profit margins, but is a little 'good news forConsumers looking to take advantage of discounts.

These market forces are the good ol 'works its magic and its chaos. If you already have the money for the planned purchase, go for it! This is the best time to spend. This could also help boost the economy, which is always a good thing.
