Which DAB Radio to Buy?

There are two big players in the world of DAB radio with a number of smaller companies emerging making now as good as time as any to buy one. Pure and Roberts are the two leading manufactures, Roberts has the more tradition in the industry but in my opinion Pure have the better product range and are more focused on what today's customers really want.

However REVO have launched some great ranges along with Vita. Both are reasonably small firms but they have truly come up with some good solutions to high quality DAB radio. The industry has moved on now and all the new radios that are coming onto the market now boasting extra features, like Idocking, internet radio and remote controls. Interestingly Pure have just launched the Pure Sensia, which is an internet radio and DAB radio. They have allowed social media sites to be used on the radio opening the radios up to the younger market.

The sensia is a decent attempt at a social media radio, however I would wait till other companies start making these kinds of interactive radios when the quality have improved a little and technology is better. REVO and Vita audio do some excellent radios too. REVO have just released the Heritage - which is an excellent radio which looks great and the sound quality and build of this radio is excellent.

You can always pick up a cheap DAB radio, from the likes of BUSH, alba and Goodmans. They are not as nice looking and do not sounds as good as the more expensive ones, however they do do a good job. All in all DAB radios on the market at the moment are an excellent buy and a good present to give and receive.
